On the Feast of St. Vincent this year, over 100 members of the AIC in Bolivia gathered to celebrate their one hundredth anniversary of service to the poor throughout Bolivia.

In a celebration that opened with the Eucharist, the members recalled the service of some of their elders, and noted the founding a of a new group of servants of God’s poor. Joined by various members of the Vincentian Family in the city of La Paz, It was a joyous time to celebrate, and to hear the grateful words of city representatives! Here are a few more photos to enjoy.

The AIC is the first of Vincent’s foundations and today represents some 200,000 members serving on 5 continents. In the United States the AIC is known as the Ladies of Charity USA.
