The international site of the Society St. Vincent dePaul announces 2013 – 200th anniversary of the birth of Ozanam. “For your information, we will celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Frederic Ozanam in 2013. A committee is currently preparing several events which will take place in Paris on 19, 20 and 21 April 2013. This meeting is open to all Vincentians in the world. There will be lectures on “Frederic Ozanam: precursor to the social doctrine of the Church”, a celebration at the Cathedral of Notre-Dame de Paris, visiting places of pilgrimage in the footsteps of St. Vincent de Paul and Frederic Ozanam and festive moments. We will give you a more detailed program in few weeks.
There will also be events in Paris on 7, 8 and 9 September 2013 for the closing of the anniversary.
