The Vatican is taking yet another step forward when it comes to technology. After creating their news portal and the tweet by the pope, the Vatican is now launching a new application. It’s called “iGPII.” It allows you to follow World Youth Day from your iPhone or iPad. It will be available starting August 1st in five languages: English, Italian, French, Spanish and Portuguese.

So — I wonder when the Vatican will become more ecumenical and make these apps available on the Android platform?

Yes, I have an iPad, but my phone is Android. And I’ve seen some really promising Android pads in the past few weeks.
