March 16-20, the Sisters of Charity of New York will convene for the first phase of their General Assembly. Delegates who were chosen to represent the Sisters and their Associates have been attending pre-Assembly meetings in preparation. An Assembly is held every four years and determines how the Congregation will meet the challenges of the next four years. This year’s theme is “At the Threshold: Igniting Charity Anew.” They will convene again April 30th-May 1 for the second phase.
