From April 25-28, the 3rd National Congress of the AMM in Spain was held in Salamanca. Its theme was “Challenges to the AMM in the New Millennium.” One hundred ninety people participated in this event, the majority of them laity from the Association. Daughters of Char-ity and confreres were also present.

This Congress followed the line of the first international meeting of the AMM, celebrated last year in Rome, attempting to concretize the Final Document, which was approved there. The reflections of this Congress centered on rereading the message of the Miraculous Medal from the perspective of the poor and the need to work in the area of formation, the spread of the Association, and collaboration with the Vincentian Family.

As fruit of this meeting a brief final document was approved which emphasizes the convictions and lines of action for the AMM in Spain in the coming years.
