In 1964-65 I spent 12 months living in La Paz Bolivia with 5 Sisters of Charity who ran an orphanage. They cared for me, far from home and only 18 years old, taught me Spanish and gave me the experience of a lifetime.

Does anyone have any knowledge of who was based in La Paz or how I might trace them? many thanks for any assistance. Judy Gunthorpe England. gunthorpeanno@btinternet.com There were over 300 children from very large families, whose parents could not support them. Now, over 40 years later I am travelling with my husband, back to Bolivia and wish to trace any of those sisters. However, as time had passed, I have lost their names!! The mother superior was french, the infirmarian from the Yucatan Mexico and the other 4 were from Colombia.
