Fr. Paul Janssen, CM founded a Vincentian secular institute called ALMA. This institute is an association of lay missionaries for the poor and the disabled. It was born on the 26 of September 1960, the 300th anniversary of the death of St. Vincent de Paul and St. Vincent is the main patron of this secular institute that now has over 300 sisters and 40 brothers.
