Leadership lessons learned from nuns – Sr. Carol Barnes, SC

If you want it done… ask a nun! These words were coined years ago by Margaret Wheatley a valued and respected elder in her field of leadership and organizational change.

Hugh O’Donnell, C.M. describes the Chinese Leadership Initiative that DePaul University has hosted for three years. It has welcomed thirty priests and twenty-five sisters from China to a month-long workshop on leadership.

The program launched on Wednesday, August 27th, 2014 is significant for several reasons. First, the offering of a leadership program within the Vincentian tradition and in partnership with a member of the Vincentian family based on the other side of the world, and secondly, the program was being launched in the year that the Society is marking 160 years of leadership and service in Australia.
