Floods in Pakistan beyond the resources of the SSVDP

The situation in Pakistan is huge and complex and it is beyond the resources of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Pakistan to provide emergency relief services. We have been in contact with them. The Daughters of Charity and the Congregation of the Mission (Vincentian Fathers) are not involved either, as they have no presence in Pakistan otherwise we would team up with them.

Strong Storms Strike SCN Ministry in India

Strong storms have done severe damage to the Sisters of Charity (Nazareth) ministry of Rajgir, India. More than ninety children call Rajgir home.
