Nazareth Sister arranges for children in jail to attend school

Nazarath Sister Rena Fernandes, who works for the rehabilitation of children who live with their mothers in a jail in Gaya in Bihar, recently created a milestone. The Charity of Nazarath nun enrolled three children from the Central jail in Gaya to Nazareth Vidya Niketan Middle School, Chatra town in Jharkhand.

Strong Storms Strike SCN Ministry in India

Strong storms have done severe damage to the Sisters of Charity (Nazareth) ministry of Rajgir, India. More than ninety children call Rajgir home. The Congregation is grateful there were no injuries but the children were shaken up. Sisters from other areas of India are travelling to Rajgir to help with recovery efforts.
