In a Press release on May 29,  it was announced that Dominic Lagana has been appointed the new State President of the St Vincent de Paul Society in SA. He replaces John D’Souza whose five year term has been completed.

St Stanislaus College has been awarded $1.6 million in Federal funding as their share of a collaborative project for a trade training centre. St Stanislaus’ College will use its money to build automotive, construction and metal and engineering workshops and classrooms.

A  relic of St Elizabeth Seton now has a home in Brisbane. The Sisters of Mercy in Gunnedah, NSW had the small bone relic in their archives. Gunnedah archivist Sr Judith Carney said they had no idea there was any link to St Elizabeth Seton left in Australia. Catholic Leader story.
