FAMVIN: The International Vincentian Family

For those of us of a certain age who remember celebrating the feast of St. Vincent de Paul on July 19 a traditionalist blog has posted the liturgical prayers once in use.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, at its roots, owes its existence to six “20 somethings” using a phrase popular in the US to denote young adults.

The Vincentian Encyclopedia provides background information about Vincentian Lay Missioners (VLM), a still relatively unknown collaborative venture of the Daughters of Charity and members of the Congregation of the Mission first in Ireland and now the US.
