Plane crash at Vincentian Mission in Papua New Guinea

by | Sep 21, 2014 | Congregation of the Mission, Vincentian Family

Papua New Guinea planeThe Superior General writes of a plane crash at the Vincentian Mission in Papua New Guinea. Four people were killed and 4 severely injured.

From he letter….The  plane was chartered by Vincentian priest Fr Vlad working in the mountains to bring them supplies. …  the irony is that the plane crashed within the boundaries of our Vincentian parish in Port Moresby just a few kilometres away from one of our rural Churches. The plane took off in a Vincentian parish and crash landed in another Vincentian parish.

There are further details at the new website of the International Missions of the Congregation of the Mission
