Stung by criticism of an atheist about the Church’s absence in the lives of the poor Frederick began a life-long journey of responding to that charge. The following post from Atheist Nexus provides something of a an update on current day perceptions of atheists in the form of a response to the reverse question about atheist charities on behalf of the poor.
