Vie Thorgren receives Human Services Award

Vie Thorgren, know for her programs in forming spiritual directors in the Vincentian tradion, received the Excellence in Human Services Award from the Colorado Human Services Network on Thursday, December 11, 2008.

Vie was recognized for her “tireless work not only personally addressing the needs of the poor and the oppressed, but her encouragement of others to do the same.” She was acknowledged as “an outstanding Colorado leader championing the cause of those too often without a voice.”
