French Mint strikes medal of Vincent

PARIS, August 14, 2008 (famvin.org/fr):  The French Mint has struck a medal of St Vincent de Paul designed by Edmond-Henri Becker.     Details of the medal can be found at La Boutique .  Both sides of the medal can currently be seen on the FamVin Francophone site at FamVin Francophone .     I like the description of the medal from “LaBoutique” page:
    “Saint Vincent de Paul has devoted his life to the poor and the galley slaves. Gifted with great compassion for others, he knew how to struggle to make poverty a distant and agonizing vision.”
