CHARITY BEGINS . . . with the individual and reaches out to be involved where there is a need.THE ACT OF CHARITY is to try to alleviate the needs of physical or spiritual poverty . . . or both.THE LADIES OF CHARITY are organized for this purpose. They are individuals. They do desire to give of themselves to aid the less fortunate. They commit themselves, as a group, to serve the many who are poor or forgotten.A LARGE TASK, to say the least! But the start of the longest journey begins with one step . . . and follows one step at a time.

AT THIS TIME, we ask you to join us in our journey. And invite others to do so. Consider the needs in your community and how, in establishing the Ladies of Charity in your diocese or parish, these needs may be answered.
